Jain Vishva Bharati Institute (JVBI), established in 1991, Deemed-to-be-University, is aunique institution that is devoted primarily to post graduate education in Oriental Studies with special emphasis on Jainology.  The Institute has a unique character among the universities in the country that gives equal importance to character building of students and to academic excellence. Excelling in creative holistic development of students, innovative curricula and research,, the Institute has been Re-Accredited with grade ‘A’ by the Accreditation Committee of University Grants Commission. Located in serene environment, JVBI offers regular post graduate courses and research degrees in : 
​  JVBI  also has collaboration with several foreign universities. It has entered into  MOU with Florida International University, Miami (USA), Chulalongkorn (Bangkok), University of North Texas (USA), Ghent University (Belgium) for exchange ofstudents and joint academic programs. The Institute has published 66 books,  595 research papers and awarded Ph.D. degree to 212 students and M. Phil. 32 to students besides hosting 193 National  and 65 International conferences and seminars during the two decades since its inception.
