The Center will carry out scientific research in Jainism and integrate it with modern scientific thought. The Centre will  encourage studies in interpreting Jain philosophy  enshrined in Agams in modern scientific context and carry out experimental as well as theoretical studies.
 The research will cover various fields like physics, chemistry, mathematics, cosmology, geography, astronomy, medicine, physiology, History and dispersion of Jainism, archeology and  environment sciences etc. At the same time there will be emphasis on application of Jain philosophy  in  social  and personal life style and for this purpose it will  encourage social Innovative studies.
​ Ecological, ethical and sustainable living as also personal development through meditation and Jain practices have been selected for the first phase. More subjects will be added depending on interest and availability of scholars.
